Apples and Pumpkins

Our yearly tradition is to travel to Lynd's Fruit Farm the first weekend in October. We even went two years ago when Will was just one month old. It is so fun to pick the apples, check out the fall store, and for the first time this year we actually went out and picked our own pumpkins. Will was so excited! The night before we went, he was singing and talking to himself in his crib for a long time. After an hour, Pete went in to check on him and the first thing he told Pete was, "tomorrow me go and pick apples and pumpkins". Priceless! Grandma and grandpa came up to join in the festivities too! This is one of our favorite family events all year!

New Albany Classic

We went to a great family event right up the street from our house. Every year on Wexner's property, there is a horse jumping competition. To add to the fun of the event, they have a concert stage, tons of carnival rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and lots of games and fun things to do. Pete and I took the boys and had a blast! Will liked his turtle balloon animal the most!

Miles is 7 months old

He is officially a man on the move! Just as Will was starting to do things a little more independently, we have to watch every move Mr. Miles makes. It takes about 10 seconds and he is either under the coffee table, stuck in the corner, under the kitchen table, or about to eat all of Will's little toys. Yes, having a 2 year old with a baby who wants to eat all things in his way throws an interesting dynamic into crawling this time. Miles just wants to keep up with his big brother. We also had to stop into the dr. on Friday and found out that Miles is already 20 lbs. 10 ounces....the average size of a one year old! :)

Bath Time

Kings Island

Every year Pete's office does a fun end of the summer family day. This year it was a trip to Kings Island. Because we knew it would be too much for Miles, we had him spend the day with grandma and grandpa in Cincy. Unexpectedly...mom got sick, so she also stayed with grandma and grandpa for the day :) Pete and Will had a blast! They met up with Eric, Kari, and Graham...and as you can see, Graham and Will had so much fun together!

The end of summer

We decided one warm Sunday to let Will help us wash the cars. It was such a blast! After we washed both cars, we put the sprinkler out in the grass for a little bit. Will couldn't avoid the temptation of running through the water. I had to snap a few pics!

Blake Farm

It is becoming our yearly tradition, heading to Blake's Farm in Michigan over Labor Day weekend. This year we had Miles and Hannah to take with us...which made it even more fun! We had perfect weather and enjoyed eating all of our treats :)
