Will's Birthday

Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Will, happy birthday to you! We had a great day celebrating with him. Even though mom scheduled the doctor's checkups for the morning and both boys had to get shots :(, it was the only way I could have extra time with my birthday boy on his special day. Will weighs 30.5 lbs. and is a little over 3ft tall. He is in the 75 percentile for weight and height, and still off the charts for head measurement :). He loved coming downstairs on his birthday and having his car track, bin of cars and trucks, and all the decorations as a surprise. We even had birthday pancakes for breakfast! What a wonderful and special day!

Miles is 6 months old

It is hard to believe that our littlest man is 1/2 a year old. He is still the smiliest and happiest little guy! This month he has learned to sit up on his own, is already starting to get on his hands and knees and rock (we're not ready for that yet :)), and his two bottom teeth are about to make their appearance any day! Both Will and Miles have done very well transitioning back to school, and we feel so fortunate to have Ready Set Grow.

They were both so good, so I couldn't choose which one to use...so here are both!

Happy 2nd Birthday Will

Will had a great time at his Gymboree birthday party. There was a lot of singing, dancing, and fun times to be had! We are so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends to celebrate with us.

Peaches and Ice Cream

Pete took a Friday off in August, and we headed to Utica, Ohio, to pick peaches and have some yummy ice cream. It was the start of the month long celebration of Will's birthday. We started by getting some great peaches at Branstool and then headed over to the Velvet Ice Cream factory. The employees found out it was Will's bday party weekend and even surprised him with a special dessert and singing. That started the month of singing happy birthday at least 10 times a day!

Go Reds!!!

We are so excited that the Cincinnati Reds have made it to the playoffs. We were really lucky this year to take Will to his first Reds' game with grandma, grandpa, Kevin, and Jen. It was a hot night, but we still had a blast. Will really likes all the "big guys"...or statues at the ballpark. We even took some pics of Miles in his new reds outfit before taking him to his great aunts to be watched. As Will likes to say, "Miles go to babysitter!". Good luck Reds in the playoffs!
