Christmas tree

Our christmas tree this year was beautiful!  We went a few days after Thanksgiving and had a wonderful choice of trees.  The boys had a blast checking all of the trees out and driving home with our tree on the top of the car.

Gingerbread Houses

The Blake family has a tradition of making gingerbread houses every year.  It was fun to be able to make them with the three kids this time.  They weren't as beautiful as past years, but we made lots of great memories doing it!  I think Miles ate a lot more of the candy than he used to decorate the house :)

Meeting Santa

Will loved meeting this santa and couldn't wait to sit on his lap and talk with him.  Unfortunately, Miles didn't feel the same way!  We eventually bribed Miles to sit on santa's lap by giving him candy.  Great parenting moment :)

Christmas Parade

It is always fun to be in Michigan over the long Thanksgiving weekend and catch the Christmas parade. It is always worth the wait to see their excitement as santa arrives on his sleigh.

Thanksgiving

We traveled to Gross Pointe for Thanksgiving this year.  As always, the food was wonderful, but the company was even better :)  Will was really into decorating the table and himself this year!

Hannah Visits

We had a great time when the Valentine family came for a visit.  The boys were so excited to spend time with Uncle Anthony, Aunt Katie, and Hannah.  It even got warm enough to go to the park (ironically named Hannah Park)!

Riding a pony

Will had a blast at Tyler's 3rd Birthday party.  He had it at a nearby stable and Will was able to ride a pony.  They had a really cool face painter at the party too, but Will would not let anyone "make his face dirty".

Sesame Street Live

The boys still love seeing all of the Sesame Street characters!  We took our annual trip to the Sesame Street Live show in November.  This year Miles was old enough to go, and he loved it.  Both of them sat and didn't move a muscle the first half of the show.  I think they were mesmerized!
