Touch a Truck Day!

We had a great time with Graham and Kari at Touch a Truck Day! Will and Graham are the typical 2 year old boys who love everything with wheels and everything that makes noise. They were so cute holding hands and walking around looking all the "big trucks". Will's favorite was the school bus. The lines were really long to sit in the driver's seat of the school bus, so Kari and I snuck the boys in the back to sit on the seats. :) We also had a great lunch and playtime at McDonalds afterwards.

Grosse Pointe Visit

We have had a wonderful time this summer visiting Grosse Pointe. Some of our highlights include boat rides on Papa's boat, visits from great family and friends, having visits from the motorcycle man (this is the name Will has nicknamed Mr. Lafond), celebrating Mimi's birthday, and meeting our new baby cousin Hannah.

Welcome Hannah Jane!

Will and Miles (and of course Pete and I) were very excited to welcome their new baby cousin, Hannah Jane Valentine, into the world on July 11th. She is beautiful!!! We were all very lucky to go and spend a weekend with her. Will couldn't stop talking about her the whole way there and the whole way home. As you can see from the pics, Miles thought she was pretty cool too!

...not so successful. It took us a few weeks, but we are finally getting the hang of it. He will take cereal with fruit or veggies but not on its own. Now getting him to take a bottle before I go back to work is the next challenge!!!

4th of July

We had a great time in GP for July 4th weekend. The weather was beautiful, so we were able to boat, go swimming, and just have a great time hanging out.
