The Zoo

What a great way to begin my Spring Break!  Because I'm off all week (and so is Will :)), we headed to Cincy for two days to visit the family.  The weather was beautiful on Monday, so we took advantage of it and headed to the zoo with grandma, aunt Lisa, and Leo.  It was a wonderful day!

Future Domer

Will really enjoyed watching his Notre Dame baby video from Mimi and Papa.  Pete says that we are inspiring him, but I'm not so sure that it shouldn't be considered brainwashing!  Either way, Will is already an Irish fan!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Despite the ear infection and sinus infection, Will seems to have had a wonderful first St. Patrick's Day!  His Irish roots are shining through today (I still think there is a chance he will have red hair, as is evident in the pictures).  Will and I are waiting for daddy to arrive home so we can enjoy some corned beef, onion/guiness soup, and mint cookies and ice cream!

Red Wings Game

We had a wonderful time at Will's first Red Wings game.  It was a 5 o'clock game in Columbus so we were able to enjoy a few minutes of the day by walking around town with Will in the Baby Bjorn.  The first period was a little rough...Will was scared of the noise in the arena.  By second period though, he was laughing and having a wonderful time as you can see in the pictures.  Thank you to the Schorer family for the cute Red Wings warmup.  There were tons of compliments as we walked around the arena!

Fun Pictures

More fun pictures from swim lessons and the wonderful warm weather this week.

Enjoying a visit and nice weather in Cincy!

Will had a great time visiting everyone in Cincy.  We got to first see Sara and Spencer for lunch in Hyde Park.  We were celebrating (or mourning, however you look at it) the fact that Sara and I are both now 30.  WOW!  We also had a lot of fun with grandma, grandpa, Leo, great grandma, and Aunt Lisa.  Can't wait for the next visit in a few weeks.

Spring is in the Air

That would be Will on his first walk outside.  For the past six months of Will's life, I feel like he was either too young or it was too cold to take him outside.  It looks like the winter weather is finally on its way out.  YEAH!  Will and I went for a long walk today after we both got home from school.  He loved it! (And yes, I put a hat on him even though it was in the low 60's.  I never know what to do since he doesn't really have any hair to keep that cute little head toasty! I figure both grandmas would like to see him warm and bundled :))

Six month checkup

What a fun day!  Mommy got to take a day off on her thirtieth birthday and take Will to his six month checkup.  Will was 18 pds. and 27 inches and his head was 18 inches around!  That means he is in the 50th - 75th percentile for weight, 75th - 90th for height, and 90th for head circumference.  He is right on target since he has almost doubled his birth weight to the exact ounce.  Will also mastered sitting up on Sunday...his 6 month birthday.  It is so fun to see him changing so much so quickly!  He also had a restless night of sleep on Saturday night, and now we know why.  He has his two bottom teeth!  One is all the way through and the other is halfway there.  As soon as they are able to be shown, I will grab a picture and post it.  We feel so blessed to have had the last six months, and look forward to many more fun times ahead!

Fun with Mimi and Papa

Will was so lucky to have Mimi and Papa to hang out with this past weekend.  He had lots of grandparent love to enjoy!  Next time we'll have to make sure and get some good pictures of Will and Papa together too.

I'm 6 months old!

We had a great day celebrating Will's half birthday.  We started off the day by hanging out with Mimi and Papa who were in town for a visit this weekend.  Will loved his special time with his grandparents!  Then we went and took 6 month pictures.  They turned out wonderful!!
